TOUR DESCRIPTION:
The Glacier River makes its way from the glaciers to the fjord, passing by the picturesque Jostedal Camping, our starting point. We put the rafts in the river here and we can all jump in after them to test the temperature. Anyone who thinks the water is warm at this point, can be given a straight-jacket, rather than a life-vest, with their paddle.
As we make our way downstream, we pass fantastic mountain scenery as we negotiate gentle sections of the Jostedalen river.
The kids will be looking around each corner to see the Elvepurka, but should keep an eye on their guide, who is more likely to get them wet than the mythical River Pig! Water pistols, nowhere to run and playful kids (the guides!) mean action from start to finish.

As well as fun and games we have a little white water to test everyone on. It is possible to continue from the Little Piggies trip onto the Elvepurka trip, if you are having too much fun to get off the raft!
The guides have spent time getting to know the River Pig, so the children can relax knowing they won't be the next meal for the hungry beast...or will they? Treat your guide well if you want to finish the trip with no Elvepurka bite marks!
